Our Services
ChimKnee Sweeps takes pride in delivering a trustworthy and cost-effective service with a transparent pricing system, ensuring no unexpected charges. All sweeps adhere to national standards, and customers receive an insurance industry-recognised certificate of sweeping with each service.
Due to the unique nature of each chimney, providing precise cost estimates prior to arrival can be challenging. However, the prices listed below are informed by our experience and serve as a reliable reference point for most customers, particularly those who have undergone regular annual sweeps.
Chimney Sweeping Service
This is a standard sweep for flues on open fires, multi-fuel stoves, or wood-burning stoves. Please note that if, during the sweep, any additional services are required, it may be necessary to book a further appointment. An additional surcharge of £10 is added to any unlined chimneys.

CCTV Chimney Surveys
A comprehensive written survey will be conducted to assess both the internal and external components of your chimney system and appliance. Utilising cameras and drones, we will thoroughly inspect the flue to examine its condition. This detailed document will encompass all aspects of the installation, including the type of appliance and chimney, as well as identifying any issues encountered. Please note that sweeping is required prior to availing this service.

Stove and Flue Liner Installation
Being registered HETAS Installers, we specialise in installing both new and reconditioned stoves, factory-made flue systems (twin wall), and flexible flue liners. While we don’t supply stoves ourselves, we’re more than willing to offer guidance to help you select the stove that best suits your requirements.

Bird’s Nest Removal
Bird nests exhibit a wide range in size, spanning from a few feet to the entire length of the flue. Due to this variability, a standard price cannot be determined. Pricing will be based on the time and complexity required for nest removal. Following nest removal, a thorough camera inspection of the chimney’s entire length is conducted to ensure no nest material remains. This service encompasses a comprehensive sweep as well.
Range/Cooker
Because of the presence of multiple flue ways within this particular appliance type, and the necessity to clean larger fire boxes, an additional surcharge is applicable to the prices mentioned above.
